Worlds End State Park
Hike Loyalsock Creek's folded mountains, then pause above the valley at Canyon Vista.

Artwork inspired by George Luks
The park sits where Loyalsock Creek cuts through the Endless Mountains, with steep wooded slopes that make its compact valley feel far larger. Canyon Vista offers the clearest orientation before you descend to the creek. The vista is reached by a rough, narrow road; walkers can instead build it into a longer trail outing.
The High Rock and Canyon Vista loop rewards sturdy shoes and route-finding attention, while creekside areas make a slower visit worthwhile. Swimming is limited to the designated seasonal area; strong current elsewhere is not a casual wading invitation. Save the park map before arriving because service is unreliable among the ridges.
