Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of zapappy.com and Zapappy services provided by Zapappy LLC. Product-specific terms for Zapappy Cooking appear in a separate section below. By using a service, you agree to the terms that apply to it.

All Zapappy services

Using the service

You may use Zapappy services for lawful personal purposes. You are responsible for your account activity, the information and content you submit, and keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

Your content

You retain ownership of original content you submit. You give Zapappy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service. This license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except for reasonable backups, legal retention, and content already shared by others.

When you choose to publish content, you understand that it becomes public. You must have the rights needed to submit it, and it must not infringe another person’s rights or contain unlawful, deceptive, dangerous, abusive, or privacy-invasive material.

Our content

Unless otherwise noted, Zapappy interfaces, text, illustrations, icons, data organization, and other service content are owned by Zapappy LLC or its licensors. You may not republish, resell, bulk copy, scrape, train models on, or redistribute substantial service content without written permission.

Prohibited conduct

• Interfering with or overloading the service, bypassing security, or probing for vulnerabilities.
• Accessing another person’s account or private data without permission.
• Using automated systems in a way that disregards our technical controls or disrupts availability.
• Submitting malware, spam, fraudulent material, or unlawful content.
• Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation with Zapappy.

Donations and third-party services

Donations are voluntary and do not purchase goods, services, ownership, or special access. Payment processing and some app functions rely on third-party services governed by their own terms.

Moderation and termination

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or discontinue access when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, comply with law, or secure and operate the service. You may stop using the service at any time.

Availability and warranties

Zapappy services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, Zapappy disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or any particular outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Zapappy LLC and its owners, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from unavailable service, lost data, user content, or reliance on service content.

Changes

We may change the service or these terms. Revised terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

Zapappy Cooking

The following terms apply specifically when you use Zapappy Cooking, in addition to the universal terms above.

Personal cooking use

You may use recipes for personal and household cooking. You may not republish or redistribute substantial recipe collections or other Cooking content without written permission.

Cooking and health disclaimer

Recipes, times, substitutions, dietary labels, nutrition-related information, food-safety notes, and technique guidance are general information and practical estimates. They are not medical, dietary, or professional advice. You are responsible for checking allergens and labels, preventing cross-contact, cooking food safely, confirming doneness, storing food correctly, and deciding whether ingredients or substitutions are appropriate for you.

Recipes and reviews

When you publish a recipe or post a review, it becomes public. You must have the rights needed to submit it. Cooking content must also follow the universal content and conduct rules above.

Cooking outcomes

Zapappy does not promise a particular cooking result. To the extent permitted by law, the universal limitation of liability above includes losses arising from cooking outcomes, allergens, substitutions, food handling, or reliance on Cooking content.
