Tyler Arboretum
Move from cultivated collections into meadows and woodland trails on a historic estate.

Artwork inspired by Charles Demuth
Tyler Arboretum's 650 protected acres leave room for two very different visits. Near the entrance, collections and historic trees invite close looking. Beyond them, meadows and roughly 17 miles of trails turn the experience into a genuine walk through changing habitat rather than a compact garden circuit.
Choose your intended distance before leaving the visitor area; longer loops need more time, water, and sturdy shoes than the garden paths suggest. Seasonal closing hours shift, but the grounds open at 9 AM most days. Some surfaces are paved while others are grass, mulch, or uneven trail, so the route matters for accessibility.
