Raymondskill Falls
Take a short but uneven forest path to a tiered waterfall near Milford.

Artwork inspired by Thomas Eakins
Raymondskill Falls descends in three tiers within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The lower and upper views reveal different parts of the drop; from either, the ravine feels much wilder than the short trail distance suggests. It is worth slowing down to distinguish separate ledges instead of treating the entire fall as one curtain.
The loop is short but includes steep, uneven sections and stairs, so sturdy shoes matter more than the mileage implies. Parking is limited and one lot closes seasonally. Stay behind railings and respect the National Park Service's restriction on swimming and wading near the falls; the wet rock is not a safe shortcut to a better photograph.
