Peninsula State Park
Eight miles of Green Bay coast, Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, forest trails, beaches, camping, and a high observation tower make this Door County’s essential park.

Artwork inspired by Gerhard Miller
Peninsula compresses much of Door County’s appeal into one landscape: Niagara Escarpment limestone, cedar forest, protected bays, offshore islands, beaches, and a lighthouse tied to Green Bay navigation. The Eagle Tower and accessible canopy walk provide a broad spatial overview before narrower trails return visitors to shoreline scale.
Traffic, bicycles, performances, campgrounds, golf, and day-use visitors share the same road system. Enter with a sequence—tower early, one trail, one shoreline stop—rather than circling for every overlook. Lighthouse tours, theater, rentals, and winter recreation each have separate seasons and should not be assumed from ordinary park hours.

Good to know
The park can reach capacity on summer weekends; the accessible tower ramp is long and gently graded rather than a short elevator ride.
