Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
A 300-acre blend of themed gardens, sculpture, restored ecosystems, water, and nearly six miles of trails.

Artwork inspired by Robert Sudlow
The arboretum combines display gardens with woods, prairie, streams, ponds, and an international sculpture collection. Its scale makes it closer to a landscape park than a compact flower garden.
Choose between a garden-focused visit and a longer trail loop before leaving the visitor area. Heat, mud, distance, and special events can substantially change the experience. Download or photograph the current trail map, since sculpture routes and natural-surface paths extend well beyond the formal beds.

Build an evidence-led visit to Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
- Choose a scale

- Sculpture
- Use the map to follow a coherent sculpture route instead of spotting isolated works at random.
- Return distance
- Track mileage, heat, and trail surface—the 300-acre site is a landscape park, not one ornamental loop.
