Lauritzen Gardens
More than 100 acres of themed gardens, native and ornamental collections, conservatories, model railroad landscapes, and seasonal displays reward choosing a route rather than chasing every flower.

Artwork inspired by Kent Bellows
Lauritzen combines horticulture, design, conservation, and public recreation across bluff terrain. The Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory provides year-round tropical experience, while outdoor areas range from rose and Victorian gardens to prairie, woodland, arboretum collections, and the nearby Kenefick Park locomotives.
Use the seasonal bloom information to choose two priorities, then leave time for transitions between them; slope, heat, and distance make the campus larger than a map thumbnail suggests. Plant labels, habit, soil, and neighboring species are more useful than collecting a camera roll of isolated blossoms.

Good to know
Capital projects can close the upper path between the Victorian Garden and Garden of Memories and suspend private golf-cart tours. Check the live access notice before choosing a route. Major holidays close the garden, and Christmas Eve uses reduced hours.
