Hershey Gardens
Pair a broad rose garden with an indoor butterfly habitat overlooking Hershey.

Artwork inspired by N. C. Wyeth
Milton Hershey's rose garden grew into a 23-acre landscape of themed plantings, mature trees, and seasonal color. The Milton & Catherine Hershey Conservatory changes the rhythm of the visit: inside, the Butterfly Atrium offers a tropical encounter even when outdoor beds are quiet. It is a garden outing, not an amusement-park extension.
Begin outside while the light is pleasant, then save the Atrium for a weather shift or the end of the walk. The main loops are manageable for a relaxed visit, though the hilltop setting means some grades. The Atrium admission is included, but strollers are not allowed inside it; plan accordingly with young children.
