Global Wildlife Center
Guided safari wagons cross hundreds of acres where large herds move through managed pasture, offering close observation under strict feeding rules.

Artwork inspired by Clarence Millet
Global Wildlife Center is a drive-through animal experience rather than a conventional walkable zoo. Guided wagons enter large pastures containing giraffes, bison, deer, antelope, llamas, and other herd animals, so behavior, distance, feeding, and vehicle position change every tour. The open setting makes social grouping and movement easier to see than in small exhibits.
Close contact demands more discipline, not less. Use only approved feed, keep hands and belongings within staff instructions, and never interpret an animal approaching the wagon as consent to touch. Tours are weather-sensitive and shade is limited; reserve the correct tour type, arrive early, and understand that private tours and public wagons produce different pacing and access.
