Clouds Hill Victorian House Museum
Original interiors, textiles, family belongings, carriages, and wooded grounds preserve a Warwick home across multiple generations rather than one restored decorative period.

Artwork inspired by Charles Walter Stetson
Built in the 1870s for Elizabeth Ives Slater, Clouds Hill retains an unusual density of family material. Rooms, clothing, needlework, porcelain, servants’ spaces, and the carriage house make inheritance and domestic systems more legible than architectural style alone.
Public opening is limited and event-based, with additional tours by arrangement. Confirm the exact tour time, expect guided circulation, and ask which outbuildings are included. The house’s historic stairs and thresholds require advance discussion for visitors with mobility needs. Small personal objects and inherited textiles give the rooms a continuity that a fully reconstructed period house rarely achieves.
