Bellingrath Gardens and Home
Sixty-five acres combine an azalea ravine, rose garden, Asian garden, bayou overlooks, conservatory, Great Lawn, and a 1935 home shaped by architect George Rogers.

Artwork inspired by Clara Weaver Parrish
The garden is not a single spring spectacle. Follow grade, water, brick paths, borrowed river views, and sequential rooms to see how a former fishing camp became a designed estate; then ask what domestic and grounds labor sustained it.
Allow at least two hours outdoors plus thirty minutes for the separately ticketed home. Heat and humidity are substantial, and lantern or Christmas events interrupt ordinary daytime entry.
